Learning to Lead

This class is designed for climbers who are comfortable with top rope climbing and ready to progress to lead climbing. Participants will learn the technical and mental skills required to lead safely, including clipping, rope management, and effective communication.

Skills Covered:

Lead climbing safety procedures and risk management
Proper clipping technique and rope handling
Lead belaying skills, including catching falls
Understanding fall dynamics and managing slack
Route reading and efficient movement while leading
Communication and trust between climber and belayer

Ages: 18+
Duration: 2 Weeks (1.5 hours per class)

Cancel between 1-3 days before your class: You will receive 100% of your payment back as credit.
